Full Body Animal Pajamas!

Well, here's something you don't see everyday. A full body pajama (including head/hoodie) of our favorite drummer, Animal.

The pj's feature Animal's pointed collar, arm bands, ripped jeans, and an Electric Mayhem Shirt - (where can we can one like that!)

I'm not sure how comfortable it is as pajamas with the hoodie, but could double as a Halloween costume as well.

You can find it now at your local Target store and online.

Sesame Street Wins Primetime Emmy!

The prime time Emmy awards aired Sunday, but you wouldn't know Sesame Street won a statuette by watching it.

That's because Outstanding Children's Program, the category they were nominated in, is part of the Creative Arts Emmy awards ceremony that takes place a week before the live prime time celebrity filled special.

Sesame latest addition to it's massive trophy case is for it's latest holiday special Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas.
They beat out Girl Meets World, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade 90th anniversary special, School of Rock, and Star Wars: Rebels.

Fan Spotlight: Sebastiano Ricci's Muppet Memes!

We've all seen teh Kermit  "But, that's none of my business" meme that's been circulating online for the last few years.

The newest trend is to take characters and pair them with other things to make them rhyme as a spoof of popular book and creepy toy "Elf on The Shelf."

Sebastiano Ricci created the following batch that were too good not too share. See if you can figure them all out!

Muppet Thought of the Week ft. Scooter!

After taking a week off (presumably to recover from their Hollywood Bowl hangovers) The Muppets are back with another Muppet Thought of the Week

This week Scooter shares a lesson from his mom:

The Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History Now Available!

The long awaited The Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual hits books store shelves today.

Caseen Gaines' in depth chronicle of the  making of The Dark Crystal features an introduction by Brian and Wendy Froud and a foreword by Cheryl Henson.

Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History is the definitive collection of rare artwork, interviews, and on-set photos from the beloved Jim Henson fantasy classic.
A true masterpiece brought to life by the ingenious puppetry and peerless storytelling of Jim Henson, Dark Crystal is revered by an entire generation of fans. For the first time, this deluxe and highly comprehensive book tells the complete story of this deeply personal Henson project, highlighting the unique creative journey and groundbreaking techniques that brought the film to the screen. Drawing from unseen archive interviews with Jim Henson and new interviews with the film’s behind-the-scenes creative team, Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History leaves no stone unturned in chronicling the entire production, from the initial concept based on themes close to Henson’s heart to the ingenious conceptual design, puppet construction, and logistics of the shoot itself. The book also delves into the wider world of Dark Crystal, exploring the creation of comics, novels, and other official projects inspired by the film.
This deluxe coffee-table book contains an in-depth look at the day-to-day production of the film and showcases a huge range of incredible visuals, including candid set photography, previously unseen concept art, storyboards, production notes, and more. The book also features a plethora of amazing removable items, such as script pages, notes and sketches from Henson, and other unique treasures. Definitive, enthralling, and revelatory, Dark Crystal: The Ultimate Visual History is the last word on an enduring modern classic and the book that fans of the film have been waiting for.

Caseen Gaines will be joined by Cheryl Henson tomorrow evening at Barnes & Noble Tribeca to talk everything Dark Crystal, Henson, and Muppets and sign copies of the book.

Want a signed copy of your very own, but can't make it to New York? Caseen was gracious enough to have a few copies signed by Cheryl Henson and himself available through his facebook page.

Otherwise, the book is available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon, and at a book store near you.

Elizabeth Banks Joins 'Happytime Murders'!

Elizabeth Banks has joined the cast of The Happytime Murders!

The Hunger Games and star posted this photo to her facebook page yesterday ahead of the official announcement:

Banks joins the above pictured Melissa McCarthy and the recently announced Maya Rudolph on the puppet-noir comedy.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed new details about the characters they would be portraying as well as which longertime Muppet performer will be leading the nonhuman cast:
In the pic, McCarthy portrays lead detective Connie Edwards opposite longtime Henson puppeteer Bill Barretta, who performs as Phil Phillips, the puppet detective. Banks plays Jenny, a burlesque dancer, and Rudolph plays Bubbles, Phil’s secretary.
Banks is no stranger to working with the Muppets. She appeared both in the pilot presentation and the 1st episode of ABC's short lived the muppets, and will be seen in an upcoming segment on Sesame Street

I got to briefly talk to Happy Time's director, Brian Henson at The Muppets Hollywood Bowl show who said after the first week of filming that the film was "Hilarious."

We'll see if that's the case when The Happytime Murders is released August 17, 2018.

Uncle Deadly & The Last Muppet Thought for The Week!

Each day this week The Muppets have released a new "Muppet Thought of the Week."

This was probably done to both build momentum off the release of the long delayed "new" Kermit's debut and to keep people's attention from dissecting it too much.

Well, today is no different. It may be Friday, they may have released a month's of "weeks" videos already, but today we have the final "thought" for the week.

But, BEFORE we show you the newest video, if you missed any of them there's a great running gag with Uncle Deadly that's not to missed.

So join me in recapping this week's Muppet thoughts of the week...

And now this week's final "Muppet Thought of the Week":

I still haven't gotten used to Matt Vogel's Kermit, but his Floyd, Lew Zealand and especially Uncle Deadly are all amazing on point.

Uncle Deadly's intro were all obviously previously reused, but changing them up in this way was exactly what us Muppet fans needed. Uncle Deadly may not have been set up as the focal point for these videos but he (and Matt) definitely stole the show!

Herry Monster Gets New Performer!

Sesame Street uploaded a new #ShareTheLaughter challenge video featuring Herry Monster yesterday. What makes it special is it marks the debut of Peter Linz as Herry!

Not only is it the first time we get to hear Peter performing Harry, it was his first recorded piece as the furry blue monster.

That makes two recasts making their debut this week.

Here's a few video of Herry over the years:

I think you'll agree Peter absolutely knocks it out of the park, Jerry Nelson would be proud!
