We haven't gotten official word yet, but Funko's Kermit and Miss Piggy Cupkake Keepsakes may become the latest entry in our "Never Made Muppets" series.
After many product delays we received this notice from Entertainment Earth last week:
"We have been notified by the manufacturer that we will not be receiving any additional shipments of Muppets Kermit the Frog Cupcake Keepsakes Mini-Figure, (Item FU3315) and Muppets Miss Piggy Cupcake Keepsakes Series 1 Mini-Figure, (Item FU3313) because they have discontinued production of this item at this point in time."At this time all links to Entertainment Earth's listing come back with a "NO PRODUCT FOUND" message.
If any were actually made it was in VERY limited quantities.
We're still waiting to hear back from Funko, but it's not looking good for these figures.
